Easy Events - Too many Events results in Error "MAX_JOIN_SIZE rows"

I wanted to use EasyEvents on my Website. Everything works fine as long as I don’t have more than 6 (!) Events or call more than one node.

I’m getting the following error message:

MODx encountered the following error while attempting to parse the requested resource:
« Execution of a query to the database failed - The SELECT would examine more than MAX_JOIN_SIZE rows; check your WHERE and use SET SQL_BIG_SELECTS=1 or SET SQL_MAX_JOIN_SIZE=# if the SELECT is okay »

This is my sample structure:
Tourplan (Main folder ID=43)
- 2008 (Sub folder ID=78)
--- Event 1 (ID=85)
--- Event 2 (ID=86)
--- Event 3 (ID=87)
etc.
- 2009 (Sub folder ID=90)
--- Event 1
--- Event 2
--- Event 3
etc.
- 2010 (Sub folder)
--- Event 1
--- Event 2
--- Event 3
etc.

If I select the main folder (ID=43) I get the error message.

If I select the sub folder (ID=78) it works.

If I select two sub folders (ID=78 and ID=90) I get the error message again.


My provider told me that

The SQL Query is getting too big and that I should set indices to optimize the query

What does this mean? I’m not a programmer and don’t know what to do?

Also the error message says:

...check your WHERE and use SET SQL_BIG_SELECTS=1 or SET SQL_MAX_JOIN_SIZE=# if the SELECT is okay

Where can I check for this?
