SwfFix snippet

    Hello,
    I have a flash menu for add o my website...
    I see that the modx have a snipped that embed flash on the websites, the SwfFix snippet.
    I instaled the snippet on the modx and I insert in the templates:

    <head>
    [[swfFix?&embedType=`standard`&id=`menu`&height=`250`&width=`250`&swfUrl=`assets/snippets/swfFix/expressInstall.swf` &version=`9.0.0`&expressInstall=`true`]]
    </head>

    Inside of the tag <body> I insert this code:

        I have never used that fix. Try the SWFObject snippet and where you want the flash to show just add a div with the id that you defined in the snippet call.

          I followed your advice, I instlled the swfobject snippet and call it in mt template

          [!SWFObject? &objAttr=`class:first second, name:myname` &flashParam=`quality:high, expressinstall:assets/snippets/swfobject/expressInstall.swf, wmode:opaque, swfversion:7.0.0` &mode=`static` &flashVersion=`7.0.0` &objId=`myFlashContent` &objWidth=`200` &objHeight=`250` &swfFile=`assets/templates/oprc/menu_accordion/main.swf`!]

          but just show a blank image... Please you could tell me what is happen

            This is what I have for one of my flash embedded files. I was having the same problem where it just showed up blank or it would just play like 1 frame of the animation. I fixed it by just plugging in 8 for the flash version. That seemed to work for me. Perhaps that might be of some help. I used the flash embed button in modx.

              I always use &mode=`dynamic`, never used static mode. Do you have a div with the id of "myFlashContent"? You need a div with the same ID as you set in &objId=`myFlashContent`:

              <div id="myFlashContent"></div>
              The flash content should display in the same location that you have the div placed. You can then place a message or an image in the div that will display if Flash is not available.

                I put the &mode=`dynamic`, but continue not work.... just show the blank image huh

                I don’t know why is not working, but I tested in the static html and work very well
                Attached you can see the generated code to put the flash to work.

                  Not sure if this would make a difference, but I have "" around the parameters in &flashParam
                  &flashParam=`wmode:"transparent"`

                    I delete the content of the flashvars and it stayed the same...
                    I don’t know what do more.... Will be a problem with the compatible...
                    I think that the code it is correct, I call the file swfobject between the tag <head>
                    and inside of the tag <body>, I call the SWFObject snipped

                      You only need to call the snippet, it will add the code in the <head> section automatically.
