I’m about to do some dev work on an existing MODx web site (www.axisanimation.com) and I have a question to ask before I get started. In essence: am I going to do something that has already been done elsewhere?
The plan is to add to the routines that currently use EForm to provide a job applicant with a data entry form to tell us about themselves. The change would be in the part of the site engine where we get an email of the job applicant’s details to our recruitment Inbox. We want to amend that email to include a .CSV text file attachment with some of the data that the applicant has entered about themselves. The .CSV file will then be quickly imported into the proprietary, hosted .ASP -based recruitment system which we use.
Is there currently a method for doing attachments like this with EForm? I’ve had a long look and I didn’t see any way to set header() types via EForm. As I may be missing something I thought I’d ask here. If anyone is aware of a solution for this task, or can offer some insight, I’d be grateful for a pointer in the right direction.
