I just created a
plugin that sets the image and file TV resource browser upload paths to be something like /assets/images/id/392, where 392 would be the ID of the document you’re editing.
It works really well, EXCEPT about 1 in 10 attempts it either:
- won’t trigger, leaving you at /assets/images/, or...
- triggers twice, leaving you with the contents of the folder showing up twice.
This behavior happens in FF3 and Safari3 on OSX. I haven’t tested anything else at this point, but I’m losing my mind trying to figure it out. Anybody care to take a look? I think the issue stems from there being so many frames, but it works fine _most_ of the time, which of course makes it impossibly frustrating to fix.
(To test it, install the plugin, hit the "Insert" button on an image TV, and reload the resource browser a bunch of times until you see the weird behavior. Make sure you upload something into the new folder it creates so you can actually see when it’s doubling up on you.)
