after intalling Revolutions many times, i get the same problems, it seems like the user interface is not formatted and links do not work, in the bottom status it reads "run script" it just hangs there, i did everything one can do... no reason why modx is not working in my system

lates version of mac os x
my database seems fine

I had the same thing.
Reinstalling MAMP was the remedy for me.

your suggestion about re-installing MAMP made me do a research and i ended up installing XAMPP instead.. IT WORKEDDDDDDD
