I am using MODx with the QuickEdit menu in the top left corner of my browser window (Firefox 3). I am also using the Web Developer toolbar, particularly for the Display Element Information feature (Ctrl-Shift-F). Whenever I use Display Element Information, the title bar of the info window appears obscured by, and underlying, the QuickEdit menu. This obscures the name of whatever element you have just clicked on, which means you have to move the Element Info window. However, this is tricky as the drag bar is largely concealed, and it is a bit of a pain having to move this every time.
A simple solution would be to adjust the stylesheet governing the Element Info window, so that it appeared 20px or so lower (the Quick Edit menu is constant in size and can’t be opened anyway while the Element Info window is open, so lowering it wouldn’t make sense, plus the Element Info window varies in size). However, I can’t locate the Web Developer jar file in my Firefox profile to find the relevant css file (or script if it is generated/embedded).
Can anyone tell me where the Web Developer toolbar files are located (WinXP) and also whether there might be another, more elegant solution to my problem, ie creating another stylesheet to operate on this window?

You could try to put the QuickEdit menu in de top right instead of the standard top left!

Thanks for the suggestions. Tried moving it and then re-logging in but it goes back to the top left. Is there a setting somewhere that controls this?

@Gav. The easiest way to do this would be to edit the start position of QuickEdit itself.
It currently is set to start at 0,0 and if you were to move it over 200px it will no longer cover the Web Developer Toolbar.
You can change the settings in QuickEdit.JS which is located in /assets/modules/quick_edit/javascript
At or around line 31 change the following line:
this.xPosition = (this.position ? this.position.split('/')[0] : 0); to
this.xPosition = (this.position ? this.position.split('/')[0] : 200);
This should help for now.

@smashingred - Thanks for that. Works perfectly. However, Ideally I would still like to be able to shift the Element Information window so I only have to make the change once for my browser and have it work on all my dev sites.
Also, when I change the position of the QuickEdit toolbar using this method, this position is applied for all manager users, ie clients.
Any suggestions welcome.
