Is the "File Extensions" parameter meant to support multiple extensions for one content type? And if yes, should they be comma separated? E.g. ".doc, .docx"?
Thanks.

I think I figured this out: NO. Because when you create a new resource and type in an alias, it is the content type extension that gets added to the resource, so it doesn’t make any sense if you were to have multiple extensions.
I’m going to make a UI improvement request to update the labeling used for that form because "Extensions" is misleading.
