Best practises building a form and accepting its data (snippet & chunk creation)

What are the best practices for accepting form data.

Should I have a snippet that should generate a form entirely by itself OR

Have the snippet fill in the placeholders for the form a chunk?

If I am not making any sense, please let me know how best I can handle form submissions. I noticed that there is an eForm snippet but it seems to specify handling email submissions.

You can use a parameter to tell eForm not to mail anything; I use it for all of my forms.

Create your forms any way you like; the chunk templates/placeholders just make it more flexible for designing different forms.

anyway u like gives us hibbie jibbies. too used to rules & limits, i guess...gotta believe "there is no gravity" then I can fly...THUD!!!

ok let me try eForm with that option disabled.
