"Uploaded file is too large" static resource error

I’m getting an error when I try to upload a PDF (1.9mb) using the MODx Browser -- I’m aiming to use it as a static resource. The error I get says:

Uploaded file is too large at 1,955,272 Bytes. Please ensure your files are less than 1,048,576 bytes

Is this configurable somewhere? Or am I running into PHP limits?

Configurable in System settings, but sounds like a PHP limit.

Found it: System --> Settings: upload_maxsize

Had the same problem that was preventing add the package of TinyMCE (which has a size of 1.99 MB). After setting the parameter to 5 MB, the installation was OK.

I believe that other novice users (like me) might have the same problem.

For the record, this occurred in a "clean" installation of modx revo 2.0.6 in a Windows environment with the Apache/Zend Server CE

For the record, the MODx system setting is the first wall, but if you set that number arbitrarily high, you will eventually encounter PHP’s memory limits.
