Is there anyone working on a calendar for Revolution? Ideally something that can read an ical or Google calendar?

I’m working on an eventmanager which will lists events, if that’s any help? It wont output in a calendar but that may be something for a later release.

unfortunately, no, the users kinda need that ’calendar’ display.

Ideally I was looking for something that can display a google iCal format, but after days of searching, there really appears to be nothing out there!

As that’s written in PHP, you can simply include the files in a snippet to have it integrated in MODX.

Personally I encourage folks to use google calendar and then just embed that in a page. see http://www.handsworthchristianschool.co.uk/calendar.html done using this exact technique.

I’ve had to do that with the google calendar before - problem is that it ’looks’ like a google calendar. also - oh yea, iFrames are evil.
