imageRotator

Hi im testing out the snipet imageRotator and am finding a few problems with Internet Explorer 7.

Does anyone know how to ensure the imageRotator doesnt offset to the left using css when the browser is refreshed?

I’ve just looked in IE7 on XP SP2 and can’t see any issues when refreshing the page.
Were you logged into the manager at the same time with QuickEdit enabled?

Seems like you got badly nested elements, plus using spaces in file-names (CSS path) is generally a bad idea.
Use http://www.icwebdesign.co.uk/assets/templates/ic_web_design_08/style.css instead of http://www.icwebdesign.co.uk/assets/templates/ic web design 08/style.css

Also, the size attributes in your swfobject call should either just be integer values, or %. Adding "px" is not necessary.

i.e. instead of
var s11 = new SWFObject("http://www.icwebdesign.co.uk/assets/snippets/imageRotator/imagerotator.swf","rotator","924px","200px","8");
use
var s11 = new SWFObject("http://www.icwebdesign.co.uk/assets/snippets/imageRotator/imagerotator.swf","rotator","924","200","8");

Hi thanks for the responce i have made a few ammendments as suggested havent fully validated the html though.

It seems to cause issue if im logged into the manager section or not. Any other ideas apart form html validation?
