Is it possible to add fields to the user profiles when they register? i.e. I have several new fields, select lists & radio type selections that new users have to fill out.
If so - is this a plugin/module or some sort of customization needing to be done to modx itself?
-thanks

Thanks - I had no idea register could do that .....
Just add the fields to the register form & they auto-magically appear ... nice.
thanks again.

Hmmm... digging into this a little more.
Register stores all this extra data in the extended user info field as what looks like csv data [i.e. "var1=val1","var2=val2","var3=val3",etc...] this info needs to be easily search able.
Is there anyway to either 1. make user profile data searchable or 2. setup the user profiles so that the extended data gets stored in database columns instead?

The data in the extended field is in JSON format:
