"Linked" dynamic content in separate callout box or side panel

I need to put a bulleted list in a side panel (in the sidebar) next to the main content of the page.

The web site is for a gardening business and they want to write a monthly garden journal with a bulleted list of tips in the side panel. I’m struggling to see how I can do this with CSS...

So what would be really neat is if I could have another instance of the RTE where I could put the callout box content and a separate call to this content. That way the main content and the bulleted list would be linked, but they could be called separately to two different places. The problem is, I’m not a PHP programmer, although I can follow along if I’m told what to do.

Does anyone have any ideas?

Use a TV with a RichText input type. Then just put the TV tags where you want your list to appear, and edit your CSS to style it. Just leave the default content blank, and they can edit it on the page where they want the list to appear. You can even edit a page’s TVs from QuickEdit.
