News publisher snippet

Hello all,

Trying Modx for the first time and am stuck with new publisher.

Now i want to display news headlines in my home page. So what i did was to inlcude newspublisher snippet exactly where in the homepage i want to display the headlines.

instead of displaying the news headlines, the snippet is displaying the news publisher frontend on my home page to post news articles. the following is the code i added to my tempalte
[[NewsPublisher? &summarize=`3` &total=`3` &startID=`2` ]]

please help. how do i display only news headlines in my homepage. thanks

News Publisher is for creating new news pages. Ditto is the snipped used for displaying the listing of your news articles.

i tried ditto and here error is "No documents found"

i have already posted 2 articles. please advice.

Are you sure your new documents are children of document #2? And are they published?
