Looking to have a plugin modify RTE fields before it is saved to the db

I am able to access the content area $content before it saves the data.

how would i go about access the content in all rich text editors?

If that can’t be done how can i access a specific TV?

you can look at the post data its prefixed with tv so if the tv is calles morecontent then you can access the data by $_POST[’tvmorecontent’]

if the tv is a selectbox puldown etc (anytv that hase more than one option) then its an array.

so your plugin could be this simple if you want to replace something in that field before its saved:
```
if($_POST['tvmorecontent']){

$_POST['tvmorecontent'] = str_replace('<p>','<br />',$_POST['tvmorecontent']);
return;
```
