Comments/Corrections for Some Pages?

I was just wondering if someone already had done this with MODx, or might have an idea to accomplish this. I’m working on a site which is mainly focused on "how-to" guides/articles for an online game which frequently gets updated/changed. What I’d like to do is have some kind of system where users can submit corrections for those guides which end up in a database where me and a few other site admins can read them and add them to whatever guide they apply to.

I could probably use eForm2DB for the forms, but I’m wondering if there’s any way to prevent submissions from pages that *aren’t* guides/how-to’s (like the homepage, or certain pages that don’t have correctable content on them)?

Any ideas are greatly appreciated!

Look at the snippet UserComments. You can call it where you need it, as well as have the ability to delete them once you’ve made the correction.

It’ll be on that page, so I dunno if you want that, or to have it in a database table...

Thanks, that’s definitely an option. I’ll have a look at UserComments and see how it works. The only problem would be that there are hundreds of pages that could have comments/corrections, and unless they’re in a central place to review them, it’s going to be difficult to sort through what corrections need to be made on each page.

Any other ideas?
