Is there any documentation that tells me where all the files are and what the files include? thanks, Dave

If you just want to change the strings, go to Tools > Configuration > CAPTCHA Words

the file is manager/includes/veriword.php

it gets invoked in manager/includes/accesscontrol.inc.php, line 105-108, and in manager/media/style/<your Manager style>/login.html. There may be other places as well.
