    Hi,

I have a site in development at the moment for which I have created a number of snippets to handle nav bars and other simple page furniture. This works fine on my local server but when I upload it to the live server snippets do not display although the rest of the site works fine. My first guess is that this is a php config issue, possibly to do with eval statements but this hasn’t got me anywhere yet. I’ve tried setting error reporting to all at the top of the index.php file but no errors get reported.

I don’t have anything other than FTP and phpmyadmin access to this server but I’m sure I can get the ISP to make changes if necessary.
php config can be seen here http://www.graigwen.co.uk/modx-0961p2/info.php

    Thanks in advance

Just a thought: Are your snippets using any php5 syntax? Most local environments I am familiar with come with php5 by default.

Take a look in the System Event log in the MODx manager and look for errors related to your snippets.

Also, be sure you are not trying to get the script to run as a cacheable snippet on a cached page, as that will not work. Disable the caching for the page or call the snippet using the non-cacheable tag style, i.e. [!Snippet!] vs. [[Snippet]]
