Hello,
A simple site I’ve created with Revo 2.0.5 (upgraded to 2.0.7) is running very slow for visitors. So slow in fact that Chrome sometimes displays:
This web page is not available.
... might be temporarily down or it may have moved permanently to a new web address.
<!--MySQL: 0.0000 s, 0 request(s), PHP: 2.6167 s, total: 2.6167 s, document retrieved from cache. -->
<!--MySQL: 0.0000 s, 0 request(s), PHP: 3.3298 s, total: 3.3298 s, document retrieved from database. -->
<!--MySQL: 0.0000 s, 0 request(s), PHP: 5.2991 s, total: 5.2991 s, document retrieved from database. -->
<!--MySQL: 0.0000 s, 0 request(s), PHP: 3.9611 s, total: 3.9611 s, document retrieved from database. -->
<!--MySQL: 0.0000 s, 0 request(s), PHP: 3.6961 s, total: 3.6961 s, document retrieved from database. -->
The actual load times are longer and compared to the sites I’ve created using Evo, this one feels sluggish at best and very slow at worst.
MODx Revo 2.0.7
Install: Traditional
Server OS: Linux
pdo_mysql installed: Yes
PDO Drivers: mysql, sqlite, sqlite2
PHP version: 5.2.13
MySQL: 5.1.43
MySQL Client API version: 5.0.51a
Apache version: 2.2.15
Cache: default settings of install
Brower type: FF latest version / Chrome
No Errors in the logs
Host: Aplus.net
I appreciate there is a PDO issue with MySQL 5.0.51a but would this would cause such a sluggish response even when the site is cached? I have the option to change the MySQL version to 4 if required.
