hello,
i’m trying to output a chunk if a manager user is logged on frontend and if he has permissions to edit the doc.
My manager users are login FrontEnd via ManagerLogin snippet.
a sort of "Personalize" snippet but for a manager user.
Actually, im trying to hack the QuickEdit script so when the "edit content" button appears, i inject a chunk too....
before i go further i wanted to know if someone has a better solution..
Any help welcome.
CTRL+SHIFT+U - Clear Cache
CTRL+SHIFT+H - Hiding Heft Panel
CTRL+SHIFT+N - Fast Create Resource
CTRL+ALT+P - Preview Recource (in edit resorce window)
CTRL+ALT+S - Save
I’d like to use Quickedit for chunks, snippets, or editing any "site-wide" content on the front end also.
So I’m interested in any solutions..

I am pretty familiar with the test for the manager since I have written two snippets based on the MangerLogin.
What exactly are you trying to achieve? Are you hoping to have the chunk show up in the QE pane or on the document or template somewhere? If it is quick edit you should easily be able to edit its files and use the
$modx->getChunk(); to grab the chunk in the QE snippet files.

Hey that’s the one I wrote. I just didn’t have time to look for it. I have now bookmarked it for future reference.
Thanks dev_cw,
