SMF Connector Synchronization problem

Hi

I have installed and run the SMF connector module without any problems, but when I want to synchronize users, the MYSQL database crushes. Has anyone encountered this problem? Do you have any idea why this may be?

I am still struggling to get the snyc work. Earlier, my SMF DB was installed within the Modx DB, so I thought that may be the problem. Now, I installed SMF separately, but now I get this error:

"Table ’modx.smf_sessions’ doesn’t exist C:\Documents and Settings\zeynep\My Documents\web\modx\forum\Sources\Load.php
1986"

seems that smf needed to be installed within modx afterall?!
found this thread http://modxcms.com/forums/index.php/topic,3565.msg29284.html#msg29284, others discussing this problem, though cannot see any suggestions?
