ListIndexer improved

Hello

ListIndexer is snippet packaged with modx allowing you to display recent posts. The problem for me is that it also show private documents (I mean the title of them appear in the listing, not the content hopefully).

Another snippet, WayFinder, handles correctly restricted document in menus built with it. So I decide to hack ListIndexer to make it work as well as WayFinder.

I attach original code and the improved one; hope it will help

It’d be good i think to make a new parameter to enable this behavior and release a new version of the code in the add on repository. Thanks for the contribution.

Ok, I’m done: I’ve added the parameter allowing to choose the behaviour you want

But I don’t know exactly where to release the new version of code. Maybe here :

http://svn.modxcms.com/svn/tattoo/tattoo/branches/0.9.6/install/snippet.listindexer.tpl

or rather in another branch? what do you think?

At the original location in the add-ons repository as a new version, and also make a note in the bugtracker about the update so we can include it in the next release. Thanks!

sorry, I can’t either find the "add on repository" neither the bugtracker. It’s a pity, i’d like to help...

Doesn’t look like it ever made it into the original repository: http://modxcms.com/repository-a-to-z.html?letter=L (there’s an add new resource link in the right column).

Bugtracking: http://modxcms.com/bugs/

yes, because it was not considered as an add-on but integrated as a core snippet (in the "install" folder) called snippet.listindexer.tpl

Ok for the note in bugtracker

added here: http://www.modxcms.com/ListIndexer-1822.html

bug tracked here : http://modxcms.com/bugs/task/998

Thanks so much alex_
