BUG REPORT [?] - MODX doesn't check uniqueness of Snippet Names

Hello,

i don’t know if MODX’s snippet names were intended this way.

It doesn’t seem to check uniqueness of Snippet Names, therefore, multiple snippets of the same name may occur. And when it does, MODX calls the snippet which was made very recently. I accidentally named two of my snippets with the same name (though on different categories). I could not get what i wanted to appear until i learned that I have two snippets with the same name. And that Modx was calling the wrong snippet.

If ever the devteam has intended it this way, may i know the logic why?

It probably should (and doesn’t) check for unique names. Please file a bug report in our bug tracker... thanks.
