Url GET vars as input value (chunk, eform)?

Hi there,

I have a question regarding eForm or Chunks in general.

I want to predefine an input field value by an url GET var.

--> koehlerhalle-anfrage.html?datum=2007-1-10

How can I get access to this var "?datum" in a Chunk?

Use a snippet to set the placeholder for the $_GET[’datum’] variable, and then you can put that placeholder in your chunk.

Here is a snippet I have used for this:

<?php
// Get value from $_GET[] var
// sample call: [!GetVar? &var=`var name`!]

$v = isset($var) ? $var : '';
$y = isset($_GET[$v]) ? $_GET[$v] : '';

return $y;

?>

In your case just call it like this and it should retrieve the value:
[!GetVar? &var=`datum`!]
