Is there a snippet, plugin etc for displaying news listings?

Hi,

I’ve had a look for any modules that provide the ability to have a headline and line or two of news on the home page that link to another page displaying the full article.
Is there anything like this?

Thanks

Ditto is indeed the ultimate new listing snippet, there is almost nothing you can’t do with it !

If you want to retrieve news from offsite sources, have a look at FeedX.
