EForm Problems

I’ve just set up an eForm on architecturalselect.com called test. This is an upload function where people can send their CVs/Resumes.

I’ve managed to set it up, rather unsuccessfully. It actually works BUT the report/e-mail I receive is as follows:

Your Contact Details

Your Name: [Reset]
Email Address: [Reset]
Telephone Number: [Reset]
Preferred Location: [e.g. London / Bristol]

Find your CV: [Reset]


[Submit]


I’m a bit stuck at the whole validation thing.

e.g.

<input name="name" type="text" class="text" id="name" size="27" eform="Your Name::1:" />

can anyone tell me what the ::’s are for on the eform= part ? and do I need them for:

name
email
tel
location
?


I’ve looked at the cvupload and cvuploadreport and can’t see anything....

Do you have any idea what could be causing this

The :: is for :text:, which is not necessary since the default type is text. If the type is email, then you’d have "Email:email:1".

That is, <input> type

There should be some documentation that comes along with eForm that will explain the eform attribute format. It goes like this: [tt][Description]:[type]:[required]:[extended validation][/tt]

Usually, only the first 3 "parameters" are required.
