I have a document called spformproc that receives _POST information from another page. It’s based on the default template for the site and just contains the following:
Errors in form submission.
[!SPFormProc!]
It’s reached through this line in a snippet in another document:
<form action="spformproc" method="post">
The SPFormProc snippet sends the user on to another page (this works fine) unless there are errors. If there are errors, it simply echoes the error messages.
The problem is that the error message screen is just a blank white page with nothing on it but the error messages. Looking at the source, there’s literally nothing there but the error messages from the echo statements. "Errors in form submission" doesn’t appear on the error page, just the output of the snippet.
I’ve looked at the MODx database and the spformproc document does have the right template assigned and all the other fields look normal. The problem occurs no matter what template I assign to spformproc.
I can’t figure out why it’s not rendering the template. I’m sure this is something dumb that will be obvious to others.
