I have installed the calendar snippet following advice from other posts.
I created the new table in the database and set the write permissions on the cache within the calendar/cache folder.
I now get another error:
PHP error debug
Error: Invalid argument supplied for foreach()
Error type/ Nr.: Warning - 2

I’m not sure what to do here...can anyone offer any advice?

This error can occur in a "looping" snippet when there is not yet any content for it to loop through.

It’s ok...i reinstalled everything again from a zip file in one of the posts rather than from the first posts by Djamoer...and it works.
I’m no php programmer...more of a front end developer, so working out those kind of errors goes way over my head.
In the meantime I’ve changed quite a few things on the calendar.class.php in order make it validate strict and also had to change the ’&’ to ’&’ on the tpl script in order for it to validate (these lines can be found at the bottom of the file.)
Other than that i have absolutely no idea how to use this calendar so any info on how to enter dates will be much appreciated. I actually only want to be able to colour code the days to display either days booked or not booked...they don’t need to be links, it’s just availability.
Can this be done within the manager or some easy to use admin?
