1.) I’m making a multi-page news and article script. I have the back end done as a standalone system. I need to know how to integrate it into the manager.
2.) When viewing a the article / news with the comments pages (hopefully with SEO ie /article/view/article_id/article_title/article_page/article_page_title or what ever).
I need to be able to have it cachable. How can that be done.
3.) I want to mix snippets with chuncks.. What I mean is that I want to have snippet that has a loop that calls a chunk (a template) fills out the the needed area in that
chunk. How can this be done?
so in my mini template I would just put [+title+], where I would want the title?
Then I would have a snippet:
$chunk = $modx->getChunk($chunkname);
$output = str_replace(’[+title+]’, $title, $chunk);
return $output;

OK that works.
Now to figure out how to make a module/plugin for the manager so I can post and edit items. Do I have to hand mod the code??
