I just wanted to let everyone know that I just added an new snippet to the Repository called DynamicDescription. It can create a dynamic meta description for every page on your site based on the site content (by default it draws out the first 25 words).
I’ve wanted something like this for a while to automate the process of adding the meta descriptions for page, and I got the idea after installing the All-in-one SEO plugin for WordPress which does something similar.
It can work with a template variable so that you can set exactly what you want for the description, and it can create a description from a document id.
