OK IM ON THE HOME STRETCH!
My site is ready to go ’live’ but the problem with using quickedit is my style sheet doesn’t take over and it (quickedit) throws in some nasty inline styles... I fire-bugged it and it gave me this: "<span class="Apple-style-span" style="font-weight: bold;">" Does anyone know how to disable it from auto styling my copy??? Also I found some docs online and it said to check out output.css but I cant find that file anywhere. I did a fresh install of 09.6

Are you pasting directly from Word or some similar programme? If so, don’t! The best way to handle this is to copy from word (or similar) then paste into a plain text editor (e.g., notepad or similar), remove all the remaining formatting, then paste into TinyMCE and redo the formatting. The other alternative is to do ’paste from Word’, then go to HTML view and remove any remaining junk.
See thats fine but the only thing is that this is for a client. They would have no idea what I’m talking about if I told them that. I just want it to not style anything and let my sheet style everything. Is that possible??
Not if they are pasting from word. I think there are two things you could do. Firstly, make sure they use the ’paste from word’ button, rather than just pasting. This will help with some of it. The second thing you could do would be to write a piece of PHP to strip out all tags and attributes that you don’t want, such as style="*" and so on. The problem with that is that I have no idea how you could use it in MODx. It would have to intercept the quickedit submission on the way to the database. I’m sure it’s possible, but I’m too much of a MODx newbie myself to know how.
