I’m a bit desperately renewing my post.
Is there someone out there using the mimetex plugin on modxcms?
The problem is that it generates an error when i use other quotes then <tex> </tex>.

In the The plugin code the used quotes where <tex> and </tex> these don’t work because the are replaced by the parser, or what you call the program that cleans the html code.
I changed the quotes which results in the above error.
please if somebody has an idea

I tried to follow the instructions on

to install the mimetex plugin
but something doesn’t work.
(i have my on linux server and the cgi works,
i use the same for a typo3 webside on the same server)
When I use the tinyMCE editor it renders the < and > tags
<tex>\frac{c}{c-1}</tex>
becomes:
<tex>\frac{c}{c-1}</tex>
which cannot be interpretet.
When i write <tex> asdf </tex> in the HTML view
modxcms removes the tags <tex> </tex>.
do you have any idea how i can change that?
