Dear SEO MODx Gurus,
I had been using a hard-coded menu for awhile, but I just installed Dropmenu, and got it working with some decent CSS.
To do my links to external pages, I used Weblinks. This is a most intriguing (bordering on peculiar) method of adding links to work, apparently by loading headers instead of just putting up links. So they worked after a little finagling.
But then it dawned on me, I wonder if this breaks SEO connections, because it’s not really a normal link. Or is it handled OK by SEO spidering? Your thoughts?

The newer menu snippet, Wayfinder, solves this issue by rendering the actual weblink URL in the menu.
(DropMenu has been deprecated for some time now...)

I will have a go at that! If I’m lucky, maybe it’s easier to use than Dropmenu! I had originally thought that Wayfinder was for a newer version of MODx than I’m running, but apparently not!
