AjaxSearch problem

Hello,

i have "serious" problem with AjaxSearch.
I wanna search "Cyrillic words" but answer from AjaxSearch is "There were no search results. Please try using more general terms to get more results."
For example look this: http://dental.informator.org try to search some Cyrillic word...
My mySQL is UTF-8, and i make this http://wiki.modxcms.com/index.php/De:MODx_f%C3%BCr_den_Betrieb_unter_UTF-8_einrichten but are not effect.

The issue could be the format of the text written in the database.
If the text is converted to html entities or otherwise changed (by RichTextEditor or the snippet), the search will not find it.

I have a similar problem with some special characters converted that the search does not find.
One option is to set your RTE to store the data in "raw" format instead of entities.
The other one would be to set your database connection and table collation and charset to the same as the input text is -> try cyrillic.

I don’t know, just guessing. If you can, check in what format the data is stored in your database.

I make RTE in "raw" but it has no effect on him...

Same problem. I resolved it by disabling ajax . So, problem is not in the encoding of the database, RTE and modx, but in search script. If someone have replacement of Ajaxsearch with better search please post it.
