How would I create something like the above?
Is it a combination of newspublisher and ditto? Is it even created in Modx?

What snippets would I have to use?

It’s a custom snippet that was coded specifically for the Repository. However, you could get similar results by modifying NewsPublisher (you’d have to modify the code to handle a file upload field but that shouldn’t be too difficult)

FYI, all elements of the Repository are created within MODx

I think that is what is great about modx is that it flexible to be a community site too.

Do you have a time frame for the release?

From a marketing standpoint, it would be really nice to show how Modx "drinks their own champagne"
For example: We used the core of modx along with these [insert snippets here] to create our repository. And what do you know, you can download these snippets that made this system possible.

How cool would that be!

The alternative I was looking at was the open source version of Knowledge Tree. Unfortunately, it isn’t as flexible as ModX.

096 is our sole focus right now. After that, we’ll be working on a new site / migration. We in fact have planned a "how’d we build this?" popup on relevant pages in fact!

I have no experience with SVN, but I’m pretty good at writing tutorials and webcasts!
I’d also like to contribute to another cool default template for modx.
