Hi guys, I want to bring up this old topic back.

I think the current modX able to support sub sites, even though it’s not fully supported yet. The only problem is, I’m now confuse on how to direct the subdomain to a different directory in modX CMS?

    I installed modx on http://root.domain
Then I want to setup subdomain http://subdomain.root.domain to http://root.domain/subdomain, which in this case, the subdomain will be a virtual directory that was created by modX and mod_rewrite. I can’t mirrored subdomain, and I can use redirect, but it’s ugly, because the URL will be changed. If I want to use cloaked, it will setup a framed, which the url will stay the same through the whole browsing experience while using the browser. Is there any other way to do this? Is it possible to set that up mirrored to http://root.domain, then modX will determine the incoming URL in index.php to direct the specific subdomain to its virtual subfolder?

For example, request from subdomain.root2.domain will be directed to virtual subfolder named "subdomain.root2.domain". Will that be do able?
I don’t have much time to wrestle on the code, but if someone able to make this into a reality, or maybe somebody already has this being implemented, it will be great.

    Thank you
