Let me translate : "There would be a problem in some cases (like IE in debug mode), a user can get a warning "unable to activate the control because it’s either invisible or deactivated or wrong type" (sorry but I translated the french error message provided, not sure it’s the same in the original version). This is related to attempting to do a focus() on a hidden field. To correct this, you have to edit "weblogin.inc.php" line 90 and replace :
if (document.loginfrm) <?php echo !empty($uid) ? "document.loginfrm.password.focus()" : "document.loginfrm.username.focus()" ?>;
by
if (document.loginfrm) try { <?php echo !empty($uid) ? "document.loginfrm.password.focus();" : "document.loginfrm.username.focus();" ?> } catch (e) {}

A decent solution, but will only work in PHP 5; the try { } catch (expr) {} is PHP 5 only.

OpenGeek, in this context, the try {} catch (e) {} is a JS expression and not a PHP one
