Websignup modification

In fact, I’m just posting this because I had a bug in the websignup, allowing people with an email adress like this : street some_text N°12 foo bar

to pass the email checking. So I changed the regexp :

by this one


Am I the only one with that problem ?

No, I tested the email address with "test" and it went through, no error. Applied your patch and it detects it fine now.

It’s still not in the modx 0.9.6 release.... It’s tiring to change that every time I install a new modx website... Is it possible to add it for next release ?

If this is posted as a feature request or bug report in the tracker, it will have a much better chance of being incorporated into future releases. Though, you could certainly make a copy of your custom websignup directory under another name and avoid the problem with upgrades; I do this on almost every site I build, especially when I have to integrate custom user systems.
