using TV widgets in modules

    Hello,

    we are currently developing some custom modules for a modx-website. We would like to use WYSIWYG-editor, datapicker and image-upload functionality in these modules.
    It seems to me that the most elegant way to do this is to use some kind of modX-API-calls because these are widgets that are already available in het modx-core. Is this possible?

      You might want to look in to the [tt]renderFormElement()[/tt] function in [tt]manager/includes/tmplvars.inc.php[/tt]

      Also check out line 1044 in [tt]manager/actions/mutate_content.dynamic.php[/tt].

        Just a small aparté : I am dropping by, but not about the code part : your project seems quite interresting, which makes me curious : any plan to share this back with the community at some point ?

          if there are interesting developments from our side that are of use to the ModX community we will definately give back!
