WebSignup in 0.91 is causing MODx Parse Error

Hello everyone,

I’m just returning to my website after quite a while away from it and am trying to set up a section for registered users only.

I have set up a web group called Investors and created a registration page with the WebSignup snippet on it.

I have put the WebLogin chink on another page and edited it to have a ’Register’ link that goes to the registration page as per the tutorial, and this seems to work fine.

However, whenever I attempt to register a new user it comes up with the following error:

My database is called cb4u, and I think that this is the problem - can anyone tell me what I need to do to get this working?

Thanks for the reply Ryan, but I was hoping not to have to do that as I really don’t have the time at the moment but need to get this up and running.

I take it that this is a known bug in 0.91? Did anyone post a work-around? I’ve searched the forum but can’t find anything.

Honestly, I have no idea. There have been more than 2000 commits to SVN since 091 was released and all of them are significant and represent massive improvements in security/performance and to the API. You could search through the bugtracker to see if there were any reports on such issues.

Upgrades typically consist of only 10 minutes or so of backing up your site, dumping a copy of your database, uploading the new files and then running the installer in upgrade mode, so you must be ultra-busy!
