    The search in the manager is completely different than the search in any front end snippet, which I hope explains some of your confusion.

      hi guys!

      i don’t know if bug-reports belong into this thread - but i keep receiving this error when using ajaxsearch

      i put [!AjaxSearch!] into my template. when i enter a search-phrase in the search-box and klick "go" i get an error.

      in IE:
      EXCEPTION AJAX: ’message’ is null or not an object undefined

      in FF it says something like:
      EXCEPTION AJAX: e has no properties

      what could be the problem? i thought in 0.9.5 ajaxsearch works out of the box

        how to manage that the "show all results" page (the link at the end of the results of the AjaxSearch div) shows Umlaute etc. correctly.
        At this time it shows "?" for an ä, ... This also leads to the effect that search items with Umlaute show no results in the "show all results" page (but in the AjaxSearch result div).
