I’m new to modx and trying get my head around some of the concepts.
I am building a menu with Wayfinder using modx version 0.9.5
If I am understanding this correctly - this snippet call
[!Wayfinder? &startId=`0` &outerTpl='wfmainOuter'!]
should load the chunk named wfmainOuter.
The contents of that chunk is simply:
<div id="mainmenu">
[+wf.wrapper+]
</div>
When I load the page, the menu displays, but does not use the outer chunk. I am a bit confused how the placeholders are used - form what I am gatehring is they are essentially variables - but where are the values assigned?
It may be I am missing the point here. I like this product because the design element is so easy to implement, but gaining hold of some advanced features is tougher than I thought.
