Only way to do that is to convert the script to a MODx Snippet. Keep in mind that some scripts just won’t work within the MODx framework, through no fault of MODx or the script; often, a script may expect to be controlling the entire page output, in which case, it will likely require non-trivial modifications to work. And sometimes the conflicts make it harder to integrate than to re-write specifically for MODx.
In any case, explore Snippets, and if you know PHP, you should have no problem discovering if it will or won’t work. If you don’t, perhaps someone who shares an interest in using the script within MODx might be willing to help out.
