Has anyone ever worked with the magpieRSS set of scripts.
I’ve got them setup and running to pull in multiple feeds on one page easily.
I’m wondering about building it into a snippet or as an include.
I’m not a php coder, yet, so I don’t even have a handle on using a php editor.
Do I need to use an external editor like dreamweaver, I’ll just basically be copy pasting the code snippets created by code monkeying.
I’ld like to build a site out of some of the best creative RSS feeds out there in the design and graphics categories.
I’ve got my MODx setup up and running, but haven’t really built any pages with it, what to do first.

You might consider Eclipse with the PHPeclipse plugin as an editor. There are many other plugins that can be integrated to support a very robust development enviroment. For example, you could integrate subversion (with subclipse) version control system, bugzilla (do a search for the fedora bugzilla plugin), php editing, JavaScript (JSeclipse), XML/XSLT(<oXygen/>), etc.
I saw a post somewhere that seemed to indicate that someone is even working on a MODx specific plugin... that would be very cool!
