How can I personlize my menu

I am rewally new with modx. (4hours)
I created a simple page a pasted div to place it in my page. I quick happy with modix Bur I have some question which my be simple for some of yours.

The most important, I would like how van I personilize the menu? or
How can I add a menu I created separatly?
How can I craete a second section in the same page to let user to modify the contaent?

The second, in 2 words, what are the snipest and chunks
