Show date on every page

I want to add the date on every page on my site, something like, ’Today’s date is: Monday 1 June 2006’

I tried [+date+] but that didn’t work and I can’t find any tips on this

Can anyone help?!

You can find date snippets from the resource repository that have good formatting options. Cant remember the names but look at the tagcloud. Authortimestamp is one..
