Pre-install validation-HELP!

    HELLO,
    TOTALLY NEW TO MODX...
    ALTHOUGH BOTH THE /assets/cache and THE /assets/cache/rss DIRECTORIES AND THEIR FILES ARE WRITABLE THE PRE-INSTALL VALIDATION NOTES FAILED....
    ANY IDEAS?

      AFAIK, the assets/files, assets/flash, assets/images, and assets/media need to be writable...

        If you would give us more information, such as your platform (OS, web server, PHP version, etc) and a screen capture image of the errors, we could have a better idea what the problem might be.
