[Solved] Pre-install validation : install does not see some directories or files

Hi,

After unsuccessfully trying to install Evo 1.01 on a server, I decided to give it a try with Evo 1.00 . This time, I get :

Checking if /assets/cache and /assets/cache/rss directories exist: FAILED!
Checking if /assets/cache/siteCache.idx.php file is writable: FAILED!
Checking if /assets/cache/sitePublishing.idx.php file is writable: FAILED!

All other directories are OK.

This is quite strange because these directories and files do exist, and are chmoded to 776.

I have installed the previous version on numerous clients sites without problems, particularly with this specific host.

Any idea ?

Self-resolution Having read on another topic that some files could be corrupted during transfer (for such a smlla package ? wow) I deleted everything and re-uploaded the whole thing.
