I am working on a new site which finally allows me to use the wonderful Modx again, and I have the Evolution installed, but after spending hour on forum and extra section, I am left with a big question in my head whether I should stick with v0.9.6.3. Sorry if this is an obvious question and decision to make, however I am unable to tell after reading 10+ threads.
1. There aren’t many snippets and plugins compatible with Evolution, or the info simply not updated?
2. I experience a few issues in the manager
2a: In the Modules > Doc Manager this error
Parse error: parse error, unexpected ’(’, expecting ’}’ in /home/content/A/d/r/username/html/staging/assets/modules/docmanager/classes/dm_backend.class.php on line 77
2b. When new document created, the tab menus and the left frame disappeared, showing one "Resource content" area. The symptom goes away after page refresh.
3. One of the most important snippets I checked, WayFinder, I see v2.0 which is for v0.9.6 and v2.5 is still in beta, does this mean it’s not compatible with Evolution?

Most snippets compatible with 0.9.6.3 should absolutely be compatible with 1.0.0. The only place you may find some bugs would be in Manager plugins/modules since a lot of the markup changed in the manager. However, if you report any bugs you find with these Manager-oriented components, they should be easy to resolve here in the community. Wayfinder works fine with 1.0.0. And I have never experienced the disappearing frame issue you describe...

I am not good at reporting bugs but will try to.
The refresh issue was from Mac, Firefox when I added the first couple documents. The symptom is gone now.
