I am using modx evolution 1. (realeased in june 2009.)
I have created the database but during installation nothing happens.
I entered username and password as well as "localhost"and tried the "servername" for database host, and nothing happens when I click "Test database server connection and view collations."
ONly thing that shows up in the adress bar is cms/install/index.php?action=connection#
any ideas?
I tried intalling the previous version and it worked fine. sigh.
The installer of Evolution makes heavy use of Javascript.
Make sure you don’t have any browser extension installed that blocks Javascipts.
